We went for a Sunday roast and it was amazing! Chicken skin was crispy to perfection. Portions are very generous. Will definitely come back :)

Very clean big rooms and friendly staff. We also are in the restaurant which was nice as well. We really enjoyed staying here and was only 10 minutes from Peppa pig world.

We had a fabulous stay at The Bell. The Sunday roast was amazing! Everything was just exceptional - the meat, the veg and especially THE GRAVY, which was just out of this world. Likewise, the crumble (apple, rhubarb and quince I think) was innovative and delicious, and the breakfast was gorgeous - great, tasty, locally sourced ingredients. For our stay, the staff were all so friendly and helpful and our room was fantastic. One word of warning - no food available at all on a Sunday evening after 7:30pm at The Bell or the pub over the road, so if staying on a Sunday night (and have had a big Sunday lunch so can't eat early, like us!) be prepared to bring provisions or have crisps at the bar! But we had a fabulous time in a fabulous part of the world and I'm sure we will be back to The Bell soon!!

Popped in on the way back from a dog walk. Were made to feel welcomed immediately by the courteous and professional staff. Our meal was delicious and we really enjoyed it. A great pub, our first time here but not our last. Oh and I have to repeat the staff were brilliant.

The food I had was so delicious! The atmosphere was perfect. My friend brought her dog, which was not only accepted but encouraged! They had a whole stand with dinners, treats and doggy care items. Such a warm welcoming pub. I will definitely be back!

We recently had our wedding at The Bell Inn. Molly, Denisa and Jess are lovely and the day went fantastically. We had good feedback on the food which isn't easy when you are feeding a larger group- the dessert and the sausage rolls in the evening were massive hits. I would say the communication when organising was a bit slow at times but everything went to plan, the day went so smoothly and the staff were very accommodating. The room we stayed in was well layed out, clean and the bed very comfortable. Overall, we had an absolutely wonderful day and I wouldn't change a thing. Thanks everyone for everything, it was everything we had hoped it would be

The staff - reception, bar staff, night porter, breakfast waiter - were all super friendly and helpful. My room was clean (and odour free despite being dog friendly) with a truly comfortable bed. The hotel is genuinely dog friendly with dogs allowed in all areas including the breakfast room. My room had room for my soft crate for my dog and a water bowl, dog treat and poop bags were waiting for us in the room. The offering at the continental breakfast buffet wasn’t extensive but the cooked breakfast, inclusive in the price of my stay, was excellent. Breakfast from 7am was perfect for me, going out early to a gundog event. Would warmly recommend.
